Mug Shot

We are going to Alaska on a cruise in July. Because we are stopping in Canada, we all have to have passports. Steve and I already have one, so we just needed to get one for Josiah. We went today to Kinkos and had his passport picture made. They didn't even want to try because he was a baby and they said they didn't think that it would turn out right. Steve convinced them to try and told them that we would pay for it even if it was bad. It actually turned out okay. It looked a little bit like a mug shot. Pretty funny considering he is only 8 months old. He looked a little bit yellow in the picture too. I guess I have been feeding him too much squash and carrots. We finally got everything sent off and it should be back in about 10 weeks. Pretty silly considering that in a year or two from now he isn't going to look anything like his picture!! Oh well, as the lady in the passport office said, if the government requires infants to have passports and make them good for five years, then it is their responsibility to honor them even when the kids don't look the same anymore!! :)
