It's on!

After walking a bit last Thursday night, Josiah, being his usual "I am going to do it how and when I want to do it" self, decided that he wasn't going to walk again anymore. Finally, on Monday night he gave in and walked back and forth from the couch to the television a couple of times. Then yesterday, he took off. You would have thought he had been walking for weeks. He walked from the bedroom down the hall to the kitchen, from the living room to the front door, and everywhere else in between. He was so proud of himself, even clapping for himself by the time evening rolled around. The cutest thing was him chasing his soccer ball around the living room and kicking it while saying "dit, dit", which when interpreted means "kick, kick". I can't wait for him to wake up and get started again today. We must give a special thanks to Sarah and Isaac for the grippy socks they bought us at Old Navy. Josiah wouldn't have been able to walk on the wood floors in socks without them! :)
